  • Evaluating and advising on energy efficiency, environmental, legal and regulatory issues;
  • Undertake measured land and/or building surveys.
  • Assessing what other consultants reports or surveys  (e.g. ecological and structural) are required and ensuring such          surveys are undertaken and their results fed into the project.
  • Preparing and presenting design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) for client comments and discussion.
  • Development of the design to satisfy the client and providing budget build costs where needed.
  • Submitting and monitoring planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
  • Liaising with appropriate authorities (e.g. planning enquiries and building inspectors) when producing documentation for statutory approval.
  • Preparation of detailed drawings and details covering technical aspects of the building for construction.
